My work explores ideologies surrounding chance and time through the manipulation of materials. In an endless search for meaning within the timelines of life and connections, I create an environment where life can be explored and made sense of through the constraints and possibilities of unpredictable materials such as cement and wax. I work against factors such as time, fragility, size, and weight to map out compositions and shapes that reflect my inner understanding of life. My work mimics the unpredictability and chaos that is life itself.
